Skinny no more

The day I realized I was no longer as skinny as I thought. . .It wasn’t just one day or event, it was a collection of events.  Like when I realized I could no longer fit into my all time favorite jeans with out a serous muffin top, and no one wants to be “that” girl’s friend.  Then there was the time I could no longer buckle my favorite Gianni Bini shoes because I was too fat to bend down and still manage to breathe.  Or what about that time I realized the office chair whistled as  I sat in it, as if there is some sort of weight limit.  I think the chair was also saying girl your fat in whistle code.  What about the time I was doing laundry at the Laundry mat and realized you can see your clothes as they dry which for little kids is amusing but for me it is awful.  My 2x panties look like a bright pink parachute.  I was hoping no one noticed until a little kid was like look mom what is that?
I had several more “here’s your sign” moments when it comes to weight. Im not sure I can say which one got me to realize maybe there was an issue.  I mean after all I didn’t just realize I was fat but I came to understand that there is an awful selection of fat girl clothes. I think I was more devastated by that then anything.  I mean really where was I going to go shopping now?

Who wants to wear over sized t shirts and relaxed fit jeans?  Not this girl.  Then there I was working in Dillards and I was always whispering where is the plus size and to my surprise I learned that didn’t have a plus size but they had a women’s section.  WOMENS? I can shop there with out anyone’s judging eyes.  I mean after all Christian Audigier better known brand as Ed Hardy made shirts in my size life couldn’t be that bad.   Which I later learned just because it comes in your size doesn’t mean you should wear it.  Which will lead me to my next blog in a few days. . . . What not to wear!

Remember: Just because you put a pretty shirt on a muffin top it doesnt make it a cupcake~FB Friend. . . .
